From Sedona, head to the nearest bus stop located at the Sedona Public Library on 3250 White Bear Rd. Take the Verde Lynx bus towards Cottonwood. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Cottonwood stop and transfer to the Verde Lynx bus heading to Jerome. Once on the Jerome bus, enjoy the scenic ride up the mountain, which will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Jerome stop and walk approximately 0.2 miles downhill to reach Jerome's Sliding Jail.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Sedona. Start from the Sedona Uptown area and head towards State Route 89A. Follow SR 89A north for approximately 10 miles.
