Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting in the center of Sedona, head south on State Route 89A. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Red Rock Loop Road. This should take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Once you reach Red Rock Loop Road, turn left. Follow Red Rock Loop Road for approximately 1.5 miles. You'll see the entrance to Red Rock State Park on your right. The park is located at 4050 Red Rock Loop Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336.

  • Bicycle

    For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Sedona. Start at the intersection of State Route 89A and State Route 179. Head south on 89A and then turn left onto Red Rock Loop Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you see the entrance to Red Rock State Park on your right. This ride should take around 15-20 minutes.

  • Public Transportation

    Although public transportation options are limited, you can use the Verde Lynx bus service. Catch the Verde Lynx bus Route 1 from the nearest stop in Sedona heading towards Cottonwood. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of State Route 89A and Red Rock Loop Road. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Red Rock State Park. Follow Red Rock Loop Road to the right until you reach the park entrance.
