    From downtown Tempe, walk to the nearest Valley Metro Light Rail station, which is located at 100 S Mill Ave. Take the light rail towards the Mesa Drive/Main Street station. Transfer at the Mesa Drive/Main Street station to the 61 bus heading towards Apache Junction. Ride the bus until you reach the Apache Trail and 40th Street stop. From there, walk east along Apache Trail for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Superstition Mountain - Lost Dutchman Museum at 4087 E Apache Trail.

    Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Tempe. Head east on E Southern Ave, which will take you out of the city. Continue on E Southern Ave until you reach the intersection with N Power Rd. Turn right on N Power Rd and follow it north until you reach Apache Trail. Turn left on Apache Trail and ride for about 2 miles. The museum will be on your right at 4087 E Apache Trail.
