If you are driving from a location within Tucson Mountain Park, use the park's main exit to reach W Gates Pass Rd. Head northeast on W Gates Pass Rd for about 2 miles until you reach S Kinney Rd. Turn left onto S Kinney Rd and continue for about 3 miles. Merge onto W Ajo Way and follow it for approximately 5 miles. Take a right onto S Tucson Blvd, and Himmel Park will be on your left at 1000 N Tucson Blvd. Look for parking available along the street or in nearby lots, which may not incur additional costs.

To access Himmel Park via public transportation, first find the nearest bus stop within Tucson Mountain Park. Use the Sun Tran bus service and board Route 19 (South Tucson).
