Getting There

Public Bus
Start at any location in Tucson and locate the nearest Sun Tran bus stop. Take bus route 16, heading eastbound towards 'East Broadway Blvd & Houghton Rd'. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Houghton Rd & Broadway Blvd' stop. From there, transfer to bus route 18 towards 'East 22nd Street'. Stay on this bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Old Spanish Trail & Houghton'. From this stop, walk south on Old Spanish Trail for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Rincon Mountain Visitor Center located at 3693 S Old Spanish Trail.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations around Tucson. Start at the downtown area and head east on 6th Street until you reach Alvernon Way. Turn south on Alvernon Way and continue until it merges into Old Spanish Trail. Follow Old Spanish Trail for about 8 miles, enjoying the scenic views along the way. The Rincon Mountain Visitor Center will be on your left at 3693 S Old Spanish Trail.

Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start at the Tucson Mall. Head east on W Ina Rd towards N Oracle Rd. Continue south on Oracle Rd until you reach E 22nd St. Turn east on 22nd St and walk until you reach S Houghton Rd. Turn south and continue walking for about 3 miles. Finally, turn west on Old Spanish Trail and walk for approximately 1 mile until you reach the Rincon Mountain Visitor Center at 3693 S Old Spanish Trail. This route is about 6 miles total and will take approximately 2 hours of walking.
