To reach Sentinel Peak Park from downtown Tucson, start by walking to the nearest Sun Tran bus stop. If you're at the Ronstadt Transit Center, take Route 16 (the 'Ajo Way' route) heading west. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Sentinel Peak Rd & Mission Rd' stop. From there, walk south on Sentinel Peak Rd for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the park entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services. Start at the Tucson Convention Center and head west on Congress St. Turn left onto 6th Ave, then continue onto Mission Rd. Follow Mission Rd until you reach Sentinel Peak Rd. Turn right onto Sentinel Peak Rd and bike approximately 0.5 miles to the park entrance.
Walking
If you're close to downtown Tucson, you can walk to Sentinel Peak Park. Start at the Tucson Convention Center and head west on Congress St. Continue straight until you reach 6th Ave, then turn left. Walk down 6th Ave until it becomes Mission Rd. Continue on Mission Rd until you reach Sentinel Peak Rd. Turn right and walk approximately 0.5 miles to the park entrance.
