Getting There

Car

Start from Verde Valley, head south on AZ-260 E. Follow AZ-260 E for approximately 20 miles until you reach I-17 S. Merge onto I-17 S and continue for about 30 miles. Take exit 250 for AZ-69 E toward Prescott Valley. Merge onto AZ-69 E and continue for about 6 miles, then take the exit for AZ-89A S. Follow AZ-89A S until you reach AZ-87 S. Merge onto AZ-87 S and follow it for approximately 70 miles until you reach the intersection with I-10. Merge onto I-10 E towards Tucson. After about 50 miles, take exit 257 for AZ-210 S toward Tucson. Continue on AZ-210 S until it merges with I-10 again. Take exit 261 for S 6th Ave. Follow S 6th Ave south for about 3 miles to reach Coronado National Forest. The park entrance will be well-signposted.
Public Transportation

From Verde Valley, take the local bus to Flagstaff. Once in Flagstaff, transfer to the Greyhound bus service heading to Tucson. This trip may take several hours. Once you arrive in Tucson, you will need to take a local taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to Coronado National Forest, which is approximately 10 miles from the bus station.
