Driving
From the "Y" in Sedona (the intersection of Hwy 89A and Hwy 179), drive west on Hwy 89A through West Sedona. Turn left onto Upper Red Rock Loop Road and continue for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Chavez Ranch Road, then turn right onto Red Rock Crossing Road. Finally, turn left into the Crescent Moon Picnic Site. Parking is $12 per vehicle (up to 5 people); additional passengers or walk-ins are $2 each. Be prepared to pay with cash or check. Parking is limited, and the lot often fills up, especially on weekends.

While there is no direct public transportation to Crescent Moon Picnic Site, you can take the Verde Lynx bus towards Cottonwood and ask the driver to stop at Dry Creek Road. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles down Dry Creek Road to reach the entrance to Red Rock Crossing. Check the bus schedule in advance to ensure a timely journey. From the bus stop, follow the driving directions to reach the site. The bus fare is approximately $2.
