If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto AZ-89A N from your location in Verde Valley. Follow AZ-89A N for approximately 15 miles. As you approach Sedona, look for signs leading you to the Red Rock Scenic Byway (AZ-179). Merge onto AZ-179 S and continue for about 3 miles. You will arrive at Nancy's Rock at the coordinates 34.8841251, -111.7403183, which is located within the scenic area. There is no entrance fee for visiting Nancy's Rock, but parking may be limited, so consider arriving early.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Verde Lynx bus service from your location in Verde Valley to the Sedona Transit Center. The bus operates on a schedule, so be sure to check the times in advance. Once you arrive at the Sedona Transit Center, you will need to transfer to the local shuttle service (Sedona Shuttle) that will take you to the Red Rock Scenic Byway area. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to Nancy's Rock. Be aware that the bus fare is approximately $2.00 each way, and the shuttle service may have a separate fee.
