Getting There

Driving

From downtown Phoenix, take I-10 East to Chandler Boulevard. Head west on Chandler Boulevard until you reach 19th Avenue. Turn right onto 19th Avenue and proceed to the South Mountain Park entrance and the Chandler/19th Ave trailhead. Parking is free, but can be limited on weekends. From the trailhead, follow the Pyramid Trail, then turn onto the Lost Ranch Ruins Trail. The hike to the ruins is approximately 1.2 miles.
Public Transport

From downtown Phoenix, take the Valley Metro Rail to the 44th Street/Washington Station. Transfer to the Route 32 bus towards Ahwatukee. Exit the bus at Baseline Road and 40th Street, then transfer to another bus to get closer to the park entrance. From there, you may need to walk or take a taxi/rideshare to the Chandler/19th Ave trailhead. A single ride on Valley Metro is $2.
