If you're driving from downtown Yuma, start by heading east on W 1st St toward S Madison Ave. Continue on S 1st Ave and take the exit onto I-8 E toward Tucson. Stay on I-8 E for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 9 for Castle Dome Mine Rd. Turn right onto Castle Dome Mine Rd and follow it for about 5 miles until you reach the Castle Dome Mine Museum, which will be on your left.
Public Transportation
To reach Castle Dome Mine Museum via public transportation, take the Yuma County Area Transit (YCAT) bus from downtown Yuma. Board the bus heading towards the Yuma International Airport. Once you reach the airport, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Castle Dome Mine Rd, as public transport does not go directly to the museum. The museum is approximately 5 miles from the airport.
