The Borden House, rebuilt after the original was burned during the battle, stands near the orchard where some of the most intense fighting occurred. Throughout the year, Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park hosts various events, including Arkansas's largest Civil War reenactment, held biennially in even-numbered years during the first weekend of December.
