A large, lighted pavilion provides shade and a gathering space. Children can enjoy the playground with swings.Historically, the park's origins trace back to 1882 with the construction of the Pacific & Great Eastern Railroad, which brought fun-seekers to the area for recreation. Today, Riverside Park continues to be a focal point for community events, including the annual West Fork Community Cleanup. The park's natural beauty is enhanced by sandstone bluffs, remnants of an ancient seashore from 350 million years ago.
