- Stop by Airship Coffee, a hike/bike-in only coffee shop in the middle of Coler, for a snack or drink.
- Coler gets busy, especially on weekends. Arrive early to secure parking at one of the three parking areas.
- Consider camping at Coler. The campground has tent platforms, van spots, showers, and a bike wash/repair station.

Driving
If driving from downtown Bentonville, head west on NW 3rd Street. Continue for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection with NW Grove Lane. Turn left onto NW Grove Lane to access the Coler Grove parking lot, the largest parking area for the preserve. Parking is free. Alternatively, continue on NW 3rd Street to access the South Gateway parking lot. Be aware that parking can be challenging during peak hours.

From downtown Bentonville, Coler Mountain Bike Preserve is a short, 5-minute bike ride. Head west on the paved trail system, which connects directly to the preserve. Follow the signs for Coler, and you'll arrive at the South Gateway entrance. From there, you can access the Applegate Trail and explore the preserve.

Walking
If walking from downtown Bentonville, follow the paved trail system west towards Coler Mountain Bike Preserve. The walk is approximately 1-2 miles. Once you reach the South Gateway entrance, you can access the Applegate Trail, which leads to the heart of the preserve and Airship Coffee. There are no entrance fees or tolls.
