This 17,033-square-foot facility, opened in 2004, features a three-story education, exhibit, and meeting space set on 160 acres. Named after Forrest L. Wood, a former commissioner and supporter of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), the center offers a blend of indoor and outdoor experiences. Inside, interactive exhibits reveal the natural forces that formed the 200-mile-long Crowley's Ridge and showcase its native wildlife. A two-story diorama depicts a thunderstorm's impact on the ridge, while films like "Arkansas on the Wild Side" and "Crowley's Ridge" offer further insights. The main level also houses a gift shop and aquariums displaying various habitats. The upper level, known as the Crow's Nest, provides panoramic views of the surrounding ridge and delta. A hands-on discovery room on the lower level features additional educational animal habitats.
