Driving
Lake Catherine State Park is located off AR-171, south of Hot Springs. From Hot Springs, take Highway 270 East, turn right onto Carpenter Dam Road, then left onto Highway 290, and finally left onto Highway 171. Follow Highway 171 into the park. From I-30, take Exit 97 and go north on Highway 171 for 12 miles to reach the park. Parking is available throughout the park, including at the Visitor Center, picnic areas, and the marina. Parking is free. Expect a 20-30 minute drive from Hot Springs, depending on traffic.
