Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of downtown Eureka Springs, the Eureka Springs Tram Tours departure point at the Park and Ride/Visitors Center (137 W Van Buren) is easily accessible on foot. From Basin Spring Park, head west on Spring Street, then turn left onto Main Street. Continue onto W Van Buren Street. The Park and Ride will be on your left, just past Bubba's BBQ. Allow approximately 10-15 minutes for the walk.

    Eureka Springs Transit offers several trolley routes that service the downtown area. From various points in Eureka Springs, hop on the Red Route and disembark at the Transit & Welcome Center. From there, the Eureka Springs Tram Tours departure point is located at 137 W. Van Buren. A single ride fare is $4.00.

  • Driving

    If driving, navigate to 137 W Van Buren, Eureka Springs. Note that parking in downtown Eureka Springs can be limited, especially during peak season. Consider using the ParkMobile app to pay for metered parking along Spring Street. Eureka Springs Tram Tours offers a captivating journey through the heart of this unique Victorian resort town nestled in the Ozark Mountains. The 90-minute narrated tour, aboard an open-air, trolley-style tram, unveils the historical tapestry and scenic beauty of Eureka Springs. The tour meanders through the historic district, showcasing hundreds of Victorian homes and buildings, many of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Knowledgeable local guides share the stories behind the architecture and the unique history of Eureka Springs, which was founded in 1879. The trams also pass by several of the natural springs that made Eureka Springs a famous health spa in the late 1800s. Two stops are included on the tour: Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church, known for its unique architecture, and Harding Spring, one of the town's historic springs. The Eureka Springs Tram Tours began around 1995 and is a partnership between the city of Eureka Springs Transit Department and Joe Gunnels Tours. Joe Gunnels Tours has been offering tours in Eureka Springs since 1978.
