Walking
The Underground Eureka Tour starts at Basin Spring Park, located at 3 Spring Street in the heart of downtown Eureka Springs. If you are already in the downtown area, walking is the easiest way to reach the park. Look for the base of the stairs near the trail map kiosk and the Pretzel Shop. There is metered parking along Spring Street, but it fills up quickly. Parking at the Transit & Welcome Center or Planer Hill Park & Ride costs $5 for the day, and trolleys provide transportation to the downtown area. An all-day adult trolley pass costs $6. Once at Basin Spring Park, the tour assembles at the designated meeting point.
Public Transport
If you are coming from outside the immediate downtown area, the Eureka Springs Transit System (trolley) is a convenient option. Several trolley routes serve the downtown area, including the Red Route, which loops through the heart of Eureka Springs. Park at the Transit & Welcome Center or the Planer Hill Park & Ride for $5 a day. An all-day adult trolley pass costs $6, and a child's pass (ages 7-11) is $2. When you park at the Transit Center or Planer Hill Park & Ride and buy an All-Day Adult Trolley Pass, you receive a $2 discount on parking. Take the trolley to a stop near Basin Spring Park. From there, follow the walking directions to the park entrance.
