    The Arkansas Air and Military Museum is located at Drake Field in Fayetteville. From I-49, take exit 62 for AR-162/Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Head east on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, then turn right onto S School Ave. Continue south on S School Ave. The museum will be on your left. Parking is available on site.

    From downtown Fayetteville, the Ozark Regional Transit (ORT) bus route 2 runs to the museum. Get off at the 'S School Ave & E 15th St' stop and walk south on S School Ave for about 10 minutes. The museum will be on your left. A single ride on the ORT is $1.75.

    From the Fayetteville Public Library, head south on Mountain St, which becomes S School Ave after crossing E 15th St. Continue walking south for approximately 1.5 miles. The museum will be located on your left.

Step back in time at the Arkansas Air and Military Museum, located at Drake Field in Fayetteville. Housed in a historic wooden hangar dating back to the 1940s, the museum is home to a fascinating collection of aircraft and military memorabilia. The museum's collection spans from the Golden Age of aviation to the jet age, with a focus on Arkansas aviation history. Explore vintage aircraft, including pre-World War II racing planes, Vietnam-era Army helicopters, and a Navy carrier fighter. Walk inside a C-130 and sit in the cockpit. In addition to aircraft, the museum displays a variety of aviation engines, military vehicles, and smaller military artifacts. The museum was established in 1986 as the Arkansas Air Museum and later merged with the Ozark Military Museum. The wooden hangar that houses the museum is one of the few surviving buildings of its kind from the 1940s and is listed on the Arkansas Register of Historic Places. The museum also hosts temporary exhibits and special events throughout the year.
