For instance, if you are near Hot Springs, take US-270 West towards Mountain Pine. Continue for about 15 miles until you reach the intersection with AR-227. Turn left onto AR-227 and follow it for approximately 5 miles. You will see signs for Lake Ouachita State Park. Turn onto Mountain Pine Road (also known as AR-227) and continue for about 2 miles. The park entrance will be on your left at 5451 Mountain Pine Rd, Mountain Pine, AR 71956.

From there, look for the Greyhound or a local bus service that travels to Mountain Pine.
