Discover more about Garvan Woodland Gardens Childrens Garden Treehouse

The Bob and Sunny Evans Tree House is a captivating destination within Hot Springs' Garvan Woodland Gardens, specifically designed to immerse children in the wonders of nature. Located in the 1.5-acre Evans Children's Adventure Garden, this architectural marvel encourages exploration and learning through interactive play. The treehouse itself is a multi-level structure, with a design representing different parts of a tree, that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The structure is made of Arkansas-sourced Southern Yellow Pine. The 113 fins create a semi-transparent and evocative form. Visitors can ascend to the top via a rope ladder to a crow's nest. From its elevated vantage point, visitors gain a bird's-eye view of the surrounding forest canopy, fostering a sense of being among the trees. The surrounding Children's Adventure Garden complements the treehouse with a variety of natural and man-made features. Arkansas boulders, a man-made cave with a 12-foot waterfall, and an iron tree bridge add to the whimsical and engaging atmosphere. The underlying theme of dendrology, the study of trees, drives both the form and program of the structure.
