Discover more about Big Spring - Ozark National Scenic Riverways

Big Spring, nestled in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways near Van Buren, Missouri, is a true spectacle of nature. As one of the largest springs in the United States, it gushes an average of 286 million gallons of water per day into the Current River. This incredible volume of water creates a দৃশ্য that is both powerful and serene, a testament to the hidden forces shaping the Ozark landscape. The spring's striking blue color is due to dissolved limestone and dolomite, which the water carries from as far as 45 miles away through underground passages.
