Getting There

  • Driving

    From Little Rock, take I-430 North to AR-10 West. Follow AR-10 West to AR-300 West (Pinnacle Valley Road). Continue on AR-300 for approximately 6 miles. The East Summit Trailhead parking lot will be on your left. Parking is free. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially on weekends. If the lot is full, consider visiting at another time.

  • Walking

    If arriving from the Pinnacle Mountain State Park Visitor Center, follow the Base Trail around the eastern side of Pinnacle Mountain. This will connect to the East Summit Trail. The Base Trail is a relatively flat, 1.25-mile trail that circles the mountain's base. Follow the red and white blazes to ascend the East Summit Trail.
