Driving
From Little Rock, take I-430 to AR-10 west towards Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Follow AR-10 for approximately 8.5 miles, then turn right onto Barrett Road. After 1.2 miles, the entrance to Rattlesnake Ridge Natural Area will be on your left. Continue along AR-300 to Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Follow signs to the West Summit Trail parking area near the new visitor center. Parking is free, but can be limited on weekends.
Walking
Once parked at the West Summit Trail parking area, the trailhead is easily accessible. Follow the paved walkways from the parking lot to the trailhead. The trail is well-marked with yellow blazes. Be prepared for a steep and rocky climb.
