Driving
From Springdale, enter Zion National Park through the South Entrance. Follow the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway (Highway 9) east. The highway ascends via switchbacks, leading to the Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, continue east towards Mount Carmel Junction. Note that a park entrance fee of $30 per vehicle is required. Oversized vehicles (over 7'10" wide and/or 11'4" tall) require a $15 permit for tunnel traffic control.

Shuttle
During shuttle season (late March to early November), take the free Zion Canyon Shuttle from the Visitor Center to Canyon Junction. From Canyon Junction, transfer to a private or commercial shuttle that travels the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. These shuttles typically cost around $30-$50 per person for a round trip. Alternatively, during the off-season when private vehicles are allowed on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, drive to Canyon Junction and continue onto the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway.
