Getting There

    From the center of Alaverdi, start at the Alaverdi Bridge. Head southeast on the main road (H-1) towards the village of Ardvi. Continue walking along the H-1 for approximately 2.5 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Ardvi, which is marked by a sign. Turn left onto the road that leads into the village. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you see the Ardvi Monastery on your right. The walk will take about 40-50 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

    From Alaverdi, walk to the main bus station located near the city center. Look for a minibus heading towards Ardvi. The fare is usually very low, around 100-200 AMD. After about a 20-minute ride, get off at the stop closest to Ardvi Monastery. You may need to ask the driver or locals to ensure you get off at the correct stop. Once you get off, it's about a 15-minute walk to the monastery, walking along the main road and then turning right when you see signs for the monastery.
