Walking
From Yenokavan, the most common approach to Lastiver Cave involves a scenic hike. Start in the village and follow the signs towards Lastiver. The trail leads through a forest and down into the gorge of the Khachaghbyur River. The hike is approximately 3 km (about 1.9 miles) and takes around 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Be prepared for some steep and rocky sections. There are no entrance fees to access the area.
Public Transport
To reach Lastiver Cave using public transportation, begin by traveling to the town of Ijevan, the regional capital. From Ijevan, take a local minibus (marshrutka) towards Yenokavan. The marshrutka fare is approximately 500 AMD. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Lastiver Cave in Yenokavan. From there, continue on foot for approximately 2 km along a dirt road to reach the cave entrance.
