From the center of Alaverdi, walk along Tigran Mets Street heading north until you reach Sarahart Street. Turn left onto Sarahart Street and continue for 15-20 minutes, following signs to Mendz Er Cave. A path on the right leads up the hillside to the cave entrance.
Public Transport

From Alaverdi's central bus station, take a minibus (marshrutka) toward Sanahin. Inform the driver you wish to stop near Mendz Er Cave, approximately a 10-15 minute ride. From the drop-off point, follow the trail up the hillside to the cave entrance. A ride by marshrutka should cost around 100 AMD.
