Opening times, essentials, and a few local tips gathered into one calmer, easier-to-scan planning section.
Walking
From Republic Square, walk northeast, up the hill towards Saryan Street. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Enter Kond through the archways and staircases that connect to the surrounding streets. Be prepared for steep inclines and uneven surfaces.
Public Transport
Take a bus to Mashtots Avenue near Saryan Street. From there, walk uphill towards Kond. Bus fare is 100 AMD. Alternatively, take the metro to Yeritasardakan station and then walk towards Kond.
Taxi/Ride-sharing
Use a ride-hailing app such as Yandex Taxi or GG Taxi to get to Kond. Specify a drop-off point near Saryan or Proshyan streets, as cars cannot navigate the narrow streets of Kond. A short taxi ride within the city center typically costs between 600-1100 AMD. Be sure to have cash, as many taxis do not accept card payments.
