Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Aragatsotn and drive towards the village of Byurakan. Follow the main road (H1) for about 15 km. After passing Byurakan, continue on the H1 until you reach the turnoff for Teghenis Mountain. Look for signage indicating the mountain; the roads may become less paved as you approach the mountain. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as some parts may be unpaved. There are no entrance fees to access the mountain.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Teghenis Mountain via public transport, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Yerevan to Ashtarak, which departs from the Yerevan Central Bus Station. The fare is approximately 300 AMD (about $0.80). Once you arrive in Ashtarak, you will need to find a taxi to take you to Teghenis Mountain, as public transport does not reach the mountain directly.
