Car
If you're driving from the center of Aragatsotn, head towards the main road (M1), which connects Yerevan to the northern regions of Armenia. Upon reaching the village of Saghmosavan, look for the sign indicating Saghmosavank. The monastery is located about 2 kilometers from the village center. Follow the road signs, and you will find parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Saghmosavank via public transportation, take a minibus (marshrutka) from the main bus station in Aragatsotn towards Saghmosavan. The fare is usually around 200-300 AMD (Armenian Dram). Once you arrive in Saghmosavan, walk approximately 2 kilometers towards the monastery, following the signs. If you prefer not to walk, you may be able to find a local taxi for a small fee.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, if you are already in Saghmosavan, you can easily walk to Saghmosavank. From the village center, head northeast on the main road. The walk is about 2 kilometers and should take around 30 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way!
