If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Areni village. Head south on the main road (H-43) and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for a sign indicating Areni-1 Cave on your right. Turn onto #6 Str and follow the road until you reach the cave entrance. There is a small parking area available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Areni-1 Cave via public transportation, take a bus or minibus from Yerevan to Areni. Buses leave regularly from Yerevan's central bus station. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and costs around 1,000 AMD. Once you arrive in Areni, walk south on the main road (H-43) for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for Areni-1 Cave. You will need to walk about 500 meters along #6 Str to reach the cave entrance.

If you're already in Areni and prefer to walk, head south from the central area of the village towards H-43. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the sign for Areni-1 Cave. Turn onto #6 Str and walk the remaining distance to the cave entrance. This walk will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your pace.
