Car
From Arpi Lake, drive south on the main road towards the village of Jrapi. After approximately 15 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path heading towards the village of Gumbat. Continue for about 5 km until you reach the outskirts of the village. Look for signs pointing to Arevik Lake. Once you see the signs, turn right onto a gravel road that leads directly to the lake. The total driving distance is about 25 km and should take around 30-40 minutes depending on road conditions.

Public Transportation
To reach Arevik Lake via public transportation, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) from Arpi Lake to the town of Spitak. The marshrutka leaves from the main bus station in Arpi Lake and costs approximately 500 AMD per person. Once in Spitak, you will need to transfer to a marshrutka heading towards Gumbat. This ride will cost about 300 AMD and takes approximately 20 minutes. After reaching Gumbat, you may need to walk for about 3 km to reach Arevik Lake, or try to find a local taxi which may cost around 1000-1500 AMD.

For those who enjoy hiking, you can take a scenic route from Arpi Lake to Arevik Lake on foot. Starting from the northeastern edge of Arpi Lake, follow the trail that leads through the forested area. The hike is about 10 km and will take approximately 3-4 hours. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way. The trail is marked, but it’s advisable to have a map or GPS on hand.
