From the Gyumri Art Museum, head south on Tigran Mets Avenue. Continue for about 500 meters until you reach Komitas Street. Turn left onto Komitas Street and walk for another 300 meters. Independence Square will be on your right. Alternatively, from Vartanants Square in the city center, walk north on Gayi Street until you reach S. Shahumyan Street. Turn right on S. Shahumyan Street and continue for about 10 minutes. Independence Square will be on your left.
