From the village center of Yenokavan, the Ijevan State Sanctuary is approximately 2.5 kilometers away. Head towards the village center and look for signs indicating the direction to the sanctuary. From Dilijan, take a bus or marshrutka (minibus) towards Ijevan. The ride typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Communicate with the driver that you wish to go to Yenokavan, the nearest village to Ijevan State Sanctuary. From Yenokavan, follow the walking directions to reach the sanctuary. A bus from Yerevan to Ijevan costs $13–19. A taxi from Ijevan to Yenokavan will then cost an additional $6-10.
