Public Transport
To reach Garni Canyon from Yerevan by public transport, start at Republic Square and head to Kilikia Bus Station. Take bus number 201 towards Garni; the ride takes about one hour. Alternatively, find marshrutka number 265 at Republic Square heading to Garni; this takes 30-40 minutes. Once in Garni, walk approximately 20-25 minutes downhill to Garni Canyon, following signs or asking locals for directions. The bus fare is approximately 300-500 AMD.
Taxi
For a direct route to Garni Canyon from Yerevan, use a ride-sharing app like Yandex Go or a local taxi. Provide the address as '4P9R+5RM, Unnamed Road, Garni 2215'. The drive takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. A taxi ride from Yerevan center to Garni will cost approximately 2700 AMD to 3200 AMD ($7-$9).
