From Yerevan, take the M1 highway towards Artashat. Continue for about 30 km until you reach the turnoff for the Geghama Mountains. Follow the signs for Gegharadiz and then to Azhdahak. The road can be bumpy, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Upon reaching the base of Azhdahak, find suitable parking near the trailhead.
