Car
From Geghard Monastery, head southwest on the main road (M1) towards Bardzrashen. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers, following the signs to Bardzrashen. Once you reach Bardzrashen, look for a small road leading towards Azat Lake. This road will take you to the viewpoint, where you can enjoy the scenic views of the lake. Ensure you park your car in designated areas. There is a small parking area near the coordinates 3JH4+36.

From Yerevan, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Garni. From Garni, find a local taxi or shared taxi to Bardzrashen village, asking to be dropped off at the Azat Lake viewpoint. The taxi ride should take about 30 minutes. Be prepared to negotiate the taxi fare, which typically ranges from 2000 to 3000 AMD. Alternatively, from Geghard Monastery, take a taxi or minibus to Goght (approximately 500 AMD). Then, catch another minibus to Bardzrashen, informing the driver you want to get off near Azat Lake (approximately 300 AMD). From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the viewpoint.
