From Yerevan, take the road towards Garni Temple. Just before reaching Garni, turn right at the sign for Azat Reservoir. Follow the main road to the reservoir. Note that the road to the reservoir is not paved and can be rough in some sections. There is no parking fee.

Taxis are available from Yerevan to Azat Reservoir. A one-way trip will cost approximately 2500 AMD. Confirm that the taxi is willing to drive on the unpaved road leading to the reservoir.
