Walking
From Dilijan city center, follow Abovyan Street northwest. The street turns into a wooded path leading to the 'Medieval Monasteries Trail'. Follow the marked trail for approximately 30 minutes to Matosavank Monastery. Continue on the trail, crossing a metal bridge, for another 30 minutes to reach Jukhtakvank. No costs are involved.
Public Transport
From Dilijan's main bus station, take a marshrutka (minibus) towards Ijevan. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Jukhtakvank Monastery. From there, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the monastery. The marshrutka fare is typically 300-400 AMD. Be prepared for some uneven terrain during the walk.
Taxi
Hire a taxi from Dilijan to Jukhtakvank Monastery. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. The fare is generally around 2000-3000 AMD, but confirm the price before starting your trip. The taxi can take you for the first 80% of the route, but the last part of the ascend can only be made hiking up.
