Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Gegharkunik and head towards Dilijan. Use the main road leading to Dilijan (H1 highway). Once you reach Dilijan, follow the signs for QR53. Continue on QR53 for approximately 5 km until you see a sign for Jukhtakvank Monastery. Turn onto the dirt road that leads directly to the monastery. There is a small parking area available near the entrance, but be careful as the road can be narrow and winding.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) from the central bus station in Gegharkunik to Dilijan. The fare is typically around 500 AMD (Armenian Dram). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Dilijan, you will need to either take a taxi or walk to QR53. Taxis can be found outside the bus station and will charge approximately 1000-1500 AMD to reach the monastery. If you prefer to walk, it’s about a 5 km walk from the bus station to Jukhtakvank, following the directions mentioned for car travel.
