Walking
Republic Square is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from many locations in downtown Yerevan. From the Yerevan Opera Theater, walk south along Mashtots Avenue, then turn left onto Amiryan Street. Continue straight; the square will be on your right. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. No costs are involved.
Public Transport
The Republic Square metro station is directly beneath the square, providing easy access from anywhere on the Yerevan Metro line. Take the metro to the Republic Square station. The fare is 100 AMD. Alternatively, numerous buses serve the square. Check local bus routes for the most convenient option from your location. A single bus ride also costs 100 AMD.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Yerevan. Use a ride-hailing app like GG Taxi or Yandex Taxi to book a ride to Republic Square. A short taxi ride within the city center typically costs between 600-1100 AMD, depending on the distance and traffic. Be sure to have cash on hand, as many taxis do not accept card payments.
