Getting There

  • Walking

    From the city center of Gyumri, head to the main square, Vardanants Square. Face the large statue of Vardan Mamikonian, and then walk towards the intersection with Tigran Mets Avenue. Once you reach this intersection, take a left onto Tigran Mets Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the end of Tigran Mets Avenue. You will see a bus station on your right side.

  • Public Transport (Minibus)

    At the bus station, look for a minibus (locally known as a marshrutka) heading towards the village of Gutanasar or any bus that passes through the area near the mountain. The fare is typically low, around 100-200 AMD. After boarding, inform the driver of your destination. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the base of Gutanasar Mountain.

    Once you are dropped off, you will need to walk the remaining distance. Follow the path leading up to Gutanasar Mountain. The trail is well-marked, but it can be steep in parts.
