From the Central Square of Gyumri (Vardanants Square), head north towards Tigran Mets Street. Walk along Tigran Mets Street until you reach the intersection with Komitas Street. Turn left onto Komitas Street and continue walking. You will see a large park area on your right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mashtots Street. Turn right onto Mashtots Street, and after a short walk, you will see the Stepan Shahumyan statue on your left, located in the park.

If you prefer to take a minibus (marshrutka), head to the nearest bus stop from the Central Square. Look for a marshrutka heading towards the Gyumri Park area. Once you board, inform the driver you want to get off near the Stepan Shahumyan statue. After a few stops, get off at the park area, and the statue will be within walking distance from the bus stop.
