From Haghartsin Monastery, head southeast on the road leading towards Dilijan. After approximately 8 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take a right turn towards Makaravank Monastery. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Makaravank Monastery Complex. The site will be on your left. Parking is available near the entrance.

From Haghartsin Monastery, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the entrance of the monastery. Take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Dilijan. The fare is approximately 300 AMD. After about 15 minutes, get off at the junction where you can see a sign for Makaravank Monastery. From there, it is about a 3-kilometer walk to the monastery. Follow the road signs, and you will reach the entrance within 30-40 minutes.
