Car
From Haghartsin Monastery, drive southeast on the main road (Haghartsin Road). Continue for about 7 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the village of Dsegh. Turn right onto this road and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Havuts Tar Monastery Complex. The last stretch is a narrow road that leads directly to the monastery parking area.

From Haghartsin Monastery, take a taxi or a local minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Dilijan. Ask the driver to drop you off at the turn-off for Dsegh village. This should cost around 500 AMD. After getting off, walk along the road towards Dsegh for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Havuts Tar Monastery Complex. The complex is located a short distance from the main road, so you may need to walk a little further to reach it.

If you are feeling adventurous and would like to walk from Haghartsin Monastery to Havuts Tar, head southeast on Haghartsin Road. The total walking distance is about 10 kilometers, which may take approximately 2-3 hours. It's recommended to wear good walking shoes and carry water. Follow the road until you reach the Dsegh turn-off, and then proceed as instructed above.
