From Haghartsin Monastery, drive southeast on the main road (Haghartsin Road). Continue for about 7 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the village of Dsegh. Turn right onto this road and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Havuts Tar Monastery Complex. The last stretch is a narrow road that leads directly to the monastery parking area.

From Haghartsin Monastery, take a taxi or a local minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Dilijan. Ask the driver to drop you off at the turn-off for Dsegh village. This should cost around 500 AMD. After getting off, walk along the road towards Dsegh for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Havuts Tar Monastery Complex. The complex is located a short distance from the main road, so you may need to walk a little further to reach it.
