From Haghartsin Monastery, head southeast on the main road (Haghartsin Road) toward the village of Haghartsin. Continue on this road for approximately 12 km until you reach the junction with the M-1 highway. Turn left onto the M-1 highway and follow the signs to Saghmosavank. After about 15 km, take the exit toward Saghmosavan. Follow the local road signs to reach Saghmosavank, which is located at '99JW+6M8, Saghmosavan 0211'. The drive should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation
From Haghartsin Monastery, walk to the nearest bus stop in Haghartsin village. Take a marshrutka (minibus) heading toward Ashtarak, which typically runs every 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you need to get off at the Saghmosavank stop. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Saghmosavank stop, you may need to walk a short distance to the monastery itself, which is well-signposted. Be prepared to pay a small fare (around 200-300 AMD) for the marshrutka.
