Getting There

    From the central part of Jermuk, head towards the Jermuk Waterfall. Follow the signs directing you to the waterfall and continue on the path leading up from the waterfall. After about 1.5 kilometers of walking uphill, you will reach the top of the hill where you will see a sign indicating the direction to Tanahat Monastery. Follow this sign, which will direct you along a scenic trail through the hills. The entire journey from Jermuk to the monastery will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

    If you prefer not to walk, take a local minibus (marshrutka) from Jermuk to Yeghegnadzor. The marshrutka will depart from the main square in Jermuk.
