Public Transport
To reach Azat Lake Viewpoint via public transport from Yerevan, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Garni. From Garni, hire a local taxi or shared taxi to Bardzrashen village; inform the driver you want to go to Azat Lake Viewpoint. The taxi ride takes approximately 30 minutes. From Bardzrashen, there may be a short walk to the viewpoint. Negotiate the taxi fare, typically ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 AMD.

From Geghard Monastery, head southwest on the main road (M1) towards Bardzrashen. Continue for about 15 kilometers, following signs to Bardzrashen. In Bardzrashen, find the small road towards Azat Lake, leading to the viewpoint. There is a small parking area near the viewpoint. Be aware that the road leading to Azat from the main road is not paved and may require slow driving.
