Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main entrance of Shikahogh State Reserve. Head southwest on the main road leading out of the reserve. Continue straight for approximately 5 km until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Shahumyan. Turn left onto the road and drive for another 2 km. You will find a small parking area near the entrance to the Sosnineri Forest (Սոսնիների անտառ), marked by a sign. Please note that parking may have a fee, so have some cash ready.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a minibus (marshrutka) from the central bus station in Goris towards Shahumyan. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes, and you should ask the driver to drop you off at the stop nearest to Sosnineri Forest. From there, it is a short walk (about 1 km) to the entrance of the forest. Make sure to confirm the drop-off point with the driver prior to boarding.

If you find yourself within the Shikahogh State Reserve and prefer to walk, you can hike towards the Sosnineri Forest. Start from the visitor center at Shikahogh, following the marked trails. The hike takes approximately 1.5 hours (around 5 km) and is suitable for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and water for the hike.
